About Ann
Ann is a highly experienced dog trainer and search and rescue professional specializing in scent work, tracking, and detection. She began her journey in dog training in 1999 with her first Sussex spaniel. From 2005 to 2019, Ann served as a member of Josephine County Search and Rescue, where she was a canine handler and ultimately became the unit leader for the canine unit. Throughout her career, Ann has: Deployed her dogs on hundreds of missions in southern Oregon and northern California Trained dogs in wilderness air scenting, human remains detection, and trailing Focused on precision tracking, detection, and gundog foundations Taught and mentored students globally in sport and professional tracking/trailing, detection, and gundog.
